Even though these two once shared a womb, they have since decided there is NO WAY they will allow body parts to touch during a portrait session. So, how did I get them to do this? Easy. I asked Mom and Dad to turn away, and BEGGED. Worked like a charm!

Quite often my child clients have their own ideas for “poses”, which typically involve unflattering things like fingers in nostrils, tongues sticking out, karate moves, sitting with their backs to me, shirts pulled up over their heads, etc. My beautiful session co-director (pictured at right) set up this one, and it’s lovely.
This was my first time photographing these two sweet girls, and they were a little shy at the beginning of our session. I love the pout in this very first shot. {For the record, it didn’t take long for their wild and crazy sides to come out!}
